“The
College of Estate Management needed a professional industry system that could
help us not only give a large number of agents the resources and incentives
they needed, but also support our candidate application management.”
As a specialist training provider with over 4,000 students from 80 countries, the College of Estate Management (CEM) relies on the support of education agents around the world. They recently recognised they needed a better way to develop and manage agent relationships, and they needed it quickly.
The college offers real estate and construction professionals a range of distance learning courses, and its courses are accredited by The University of Reading. Ben Elder, Director of Business Development at CEM, saw that global agents and partners were key to improving their student service.
He began looking for a complete solution that would help them effectively build and manage their agent channel within a limited timeframe.
Many Systems. One Solution
“Our success depends on working effectively with a number of education agents and partners around the world. Key to this was sourcing a solution that would work well with all of them and their systems,” explains Ben.
“We found that StudyLink Connect was the only solution available that delivered strong application and agent management without the need for us to integrate with all of our partners.”
StudyLink also provided CEM with advice on agent selection for their professional development courses in real estate, construction, surveying, estate and property management.
1,000 agent users
“StudyLink has a large number of our agents using their system already,” says Ben. “We're looking forward to further improving our customer service to students and agents using Connect.”
Jason Howard, StudyLink CEO, says StudyLink Connect offers proven performance and a cost effective way to get all systems working as one. “With over 30,000 applications submitted to 40 providers via 1,000 trained agents worldwide last year, it delivers on the promise of electronic applications. Faster turnaround times, consistent and correct course information across all channels and reduced compliance risk,” he explains.
“We’ve brought together over 15 years of expertise in course and application data management, recruitment technology development and education agent business management to create StudyLink Connect. Our clients see it as a flexible solution that simply makes their existing systems work more effectively from day one.”
