Four teams descended on the Holme Building at the University of Sydney for the Australian national final of the GMC.
Bond University were seated not too far away from Team IBUS and these two teams battled it out through the final few 'quarters'. It could have gone either way.
The Globetrotters started strongly, having won the preliminary round.
Magna were only able to get two members to the final but considering they paid for themselves to fly all the way from Perth it was a great effort just to be there.
Joao from SDG Portugal ran the decisions through the simulator and produced the management reports for each of the teams.
At the end of each quarter, teams were given their management reports and relative share price. It was always a nervous moment.
Joao and Jason check the final results while the teams and supporters relax over a few drinks.
Thanks to The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Sydney for their support of the inaugural Australian GMC. Together with The Australian we look forward to an exciting competition starting in September 2008.
