What are big companies really looking for?
Multinational employers look for competencies such as flexibility, adaptability, languages, teamwork, communication skills and an international outlook when recruiting, according to research presented at the Australian International Education Conference. All of these qualities can be developed through studying in a different country.
Several members of the StudyLink staff recently attended the conference to get updates on the latest developments in international education and meet up with university staff from around the world.
When applying to study overseas, selecting a course to meet your academic goals is one of the many things to be considered. You should also think about the size of the city, different climates, your personal interests and goals and your preferences in religion, diet and culture.
Some students prefer to study in a location similar to their home city while others are looking for something completely different. Take advantage of your time abroad to learn and grow academically and personally, and to develop skills that will help you get a good job after completing your studies. Contact a counsellor to discuss your options and find the right course for you.
Natasha and I both recently attended a workshop in Sydney to learn more about the new TOEFL English language internet-based test. We are all set to field your questions on what is included and when the new test should be available in your area. Contact a counsellor with your questions.

Hi, I want to work!
I’m from Mongolia, don’t have money for payment of University, but I want to ask; is that possible, firstly to work in USA and later to study when earn enough money.
I graduated Computer Science & Management School at my country by Bachelor of Computer science engineer in 5 years. After graduate did work 2 years by my profession, that means I’ve 2 years work experience. Later entered to other company and now working by Purchasing Officer 1 year.
Is that possible to work in USA? If someone has an idea, write me.
