USA: Johnson & Wales to increase international student numbers
Known as America’s career university, Johnson & Wales University is planning to increase its international enrolment over the next five years, as part of its Focus 2011 strategic plan.
The plan aims to consolidate its reputation for relevant, quality courses which combine general education with professional skills. The university is well known for its culinary and hospitality programmes, and also offers business and technology courses.
Johnson & Wales boasts a 98% employment rate post-graduation. It offers flexible scheduling and a unique “upside-down” curriculum where students can take their major subjects in their first year. This improves retention rates as they quickly know whether they have made the right career choice.
Students have a choice of four campuses, in Rhode Island, Florida, Colorado or North Carolina. To find out more about studying at the Johnson & Wales University, contact a StudyLink counsellor today.
