Canada: new 3-year postgraduate work permit

International students will welcome the Canadian government’s new post-graduate work permit program. Effective immediately, you can now obtain an open work permit for three years, with no restrictions on the type of employment and no need for a job offer.

The program is designed to encourage more international students to come to Canada, and to then stay and work once they graduate. You need to have graduated from an eligible program at a post-secondary institution to apply.

If you have any questions or concerns about student visas – or post-graduation opportunities – just talk with one of our student counsellors.

Dear sir!i like to study in canada.I am from afghanistan and you know that for afghanistan people there is no opputunity to study in canada.and embassy refuse their cases with out checking.
I passed class 10th in pakistan in 2002,but after this their is no oppurtunity for me to study.
