Top-ranking Monash MBA develops future leaders
The world-ranked Monash MBA is a value-added program that provides a breadth of knowledge in the essential business disciplines, while at the same time developing personal skills and career development strategies for its students.
The program comprises 16 semester-length units – ten core units and six electives. The core curriculum is designed to provide an educational foundation for students to develop their leadership and management capabilities.
Effective leaders and managers must be capable strategists. They must have highly developed personal skills including analytical, problem solving, communication and teamwork skills. They must be innovative and have relevant professional and personal capabilities within an international or global context. They need to understand the driving forces of technological change that are transforming society and industry on a global scale.
The Monash MBA vision is to provide current and aspiring managers with an educational experience that will enable them to be outstanding leaders of business organisations worldwide.
“The tremendous value of the Monash MBA results from a combination of each member of the group’s personality, cultural background, education and professional experience. We had a situation where a Brazilian IT consultant, an Indian pharmaceutical scientist, an Australian chartered accountant and a Swiss banker together assessed and analysed a market-entry strategy for a US retailer into China. This multicultural student body from different educational and professional backgrounds helped me to understand other positions and opinions. It is also a reflection of the highly international environment in which business today operates.”
Alex Kaiser, MBA 2007
What we're looking for are ideas, not Pulitzer Prize writers. Ideas are what fuel our magazine and our website. Now we want to expand that concept into eBooks for expats. You don't have to be a professional writer to submit a report that provides important information - - information that you yourself have learned by having been there and done it. That is exactly what our readers are seeking, facts about living overseas from people who've done it. Yes, you can make money from a good report or two... possibly a lot.
